Our electorate was named after the City of Melbourne and our community is situated on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation.  

Melbourne is a federal electoral district representing a cluster of diverse and lively inner-city suburbs of Melbourne, including the central business district of our city.  

I am incredibly proud to represent a seat which is amongst the most multicultural electorates in Australia. Immigrants from China, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, and African nations and more all call Melbourne home. 

Melbourne covers both sides of the Yarra River from Richmond to South Yarra, with Alexandra Parade on our northern border.  

In Melbourne we welcome all and work together to make it an even better place to live.
